Happy Helloween

 Happy Halloween Challenge!

In the mids of Halloween preparation... but there's always time to join  a challenge.
Today I'm joining in with a CAS card.
It's my take on the Case This Sketch Challenge with the collor pallette from My Favorite Things Blog. And just for fun I threw in the mix the elements from the TicTacToe Challenge- I went with red, green and fall.

I hope you like it!

Terracotta bubbles

Hello Again!

Today I'm participating in a few challenges with my new creation.
I initially got inspired by the simple, yet impressive terracotta cup  photo over at the Colorthrowdown Challenge blog.  Then I decided to incorporate the colors into the Case this Sketch challenge. But, as always, I had no idea how anything will play out... Until I checked the Little Red wagon blog. They wanted to create your own background. Well, I cheated a little bit and created half background (I hope that counts ;). I had this bubbly stamp for a long time and I decided to use it, so I stamped it twice to achieve a bigger surface. The overlapping of the image is  "strategically" covered by my sentiment.
I am pretty pleased how this card turned out!
Let me know what you think :)

Case MFT

Hello again!

Today I'm taking a little break from the Mother's Day cards making marathon and decided to do something different.

The Case This Sketch Challenge came up with a very cool idea, and even though it seemed pretty easy, it wasn't.
I used the sweet little elephant from the MFT stamp set and also followed their color combo, so I can create this card for my dear friend, who' s been fantastic this past month.
I hope she like it :)

Speedy Challenge

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today I am partaking in a speedy challenge that the Girls over at As You See It suggested. With a little cheating ( I pre-planned everything) I manage to finish it for 8.42 min. And then it took me about an hour
to clean up the mess lol. What I did is, I flipped the sketch from the Case This Sketch Challenge and used the colors from the Color Throwdown Challenge. A few twirls of watercolors and 2 stamps later- and I had a card.

I hope you like it!

Love you bunches!

It's Spring time! Finally!

It's been quite some time since I got to play along with some challenges... but you know how it goes- life get's in the way :)
Simon says-Anything goes, and possibly with Stampendous product, so-there you have it! I've had that sunflower stamp for a long time... it's quietly sitting on my desk waiting to get invited to the party... and finally I decided to use it. It's an old stamp, but brand new for me :) I used the soft colours from the ColorThrowdown Challenge and the sketch that the Gals over at the Case This Sketch created. I created my circular focal point with the help of my image and watercoloring the background, leaving a white circular "border" around it. I LOVE Tic Tac Toe challenges! For this one I went with flower-gold-baker's twine...or green-baker's twine-bold sentiment.
Despite the fact that I'm a little bit rusty, I have to say I enjoyed creating this card and I'm quite pleased how it turned out.
I hope you like it as well!

CAS-e this Inspiration

Happy Saturday!

After Thanksgiving and Black Friday crazy and in between waiting for Cyber Monday insanity i managed to find time and make a card! With my new toys!

I am in love with the wooden star from the inspirational photo the Gals over at the Inspired by blog posted. I just had to! And I did! On a white cardstock I smudged (yes, that's an official technique!) my star and on the top I stamped my brand new stamp. And somehow (meaning with quite struggles) I managed to CAS-e the sketch from that other challenge... No, really, you'll see it...just use a LOT of imagination lol.

Well, ready or not Christmas is coming so here it is in all it's glory- the second Christmas card for this year. Oh, I'm so screwed!

The Past, the Present and the Future

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am joining in today with a cute little card I made for the Past, the Present and the Future  release party over at the Papertrey Ink.

I started a little bit backwards, but thankfully it all worked out.

My inspiration for this card came from Betsy Veldman's card from back in 2007. I didn't have some of the stamps they were revisiting , so I used some other, as fabulous products that I had. I die cut the butterfly out of the pink panel, because I wanted to use that for my "cloud"element for the Case this Sketch challenged and to join the Happy Little Stamper's challenge. It seemed simple enough, until I realized that when I stamped my butterfly and tried to put the panel on the top, the panel was not quite vertical. Probably I should've drawn some reference lines, but that's so overrated! So now I had to trim the panel so it is vertical in relation to the base of the card. Who needs it to be easy when it can be so much more.......fun! Let's go with Fun! ;)

I used the color idea that the Paper Players were offering. The sentiment is embossed on a metallic copper cardstock (not very visible on the picture). I hand pierced the frame on the pink panel with a pin (because I lost my piercing tool and by lost I mean I organized it somewhere that can be never found) for a little special touch and adde a few pearl stickers and I was done.

Happy Love Day!

Blog Hop challenge

It's time for another Blog hop Challenge over at the Papertrey Ink Blog. Beautiful picture, giving so much to the the creative imagination. I made it quick and simple ( that's usually a struggle for me so I'm trying really hard not to add tons of things to a project). The layout got inspired by the sketch from this weeks's Cas(e) this sketch! challenge.

So combining this color recipe and this simple but challenging sketch resulted in the above  card :)
