75 flowers

Hello!
Happy Monday!

A friend of mine asked me I can make a card for his Mom's 75th birthday.

I started with the sketch from Fab Friday blog. The pastel colors were inspired by the delicious photo over at the As You see it challenge. I used a few layers so I can participate in the Just Us Girls Challenge.

I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet like Mother's love

Hello and Happy weekend!

Mother's day is around the corner and a lot of challenges are calling for a card honoring Moms. What better reason to get some creativity happen, right?

For this project I started with the sketch from the Fusion challenge! The soft pastel colors were gifted by the As You See It challenge blog.
The Gals over at the Card Concept blog have this beautiful  inspirational photo.  The pink and yellow flowers just "jump" out the vase and greet you! That was my inspiration behind my clean and layered card.

Hello Chica

Hello and Happy Monday!

Today I'm joining in with this long and bold card!

Slim cards are a challenge for me, but every once in a while I dare to try and make one. Today I was feeling brave- so here it is!

I started with the color swatch form the Color Throwdown blog. Those are not colors that I usually use, but as I said- I was feeling brave, so I dived into them.
I played along with the Inksparational challenge which requested feathers and I placed my feathery friends along the edge, per AAA blog challenge.

Fabulous Spring

Hi Y'All! It's officially Spring time!

That doesn't have to be a reason to make a card, but why not?!

My inspiration came from the beautiful butterfly inspirational photo from The Card Concept Blog. I adore butterflies and that was a no brainer- I quickly whipped that clean and simple (or maybe clean and graphic) card. The butterfly was perfect fit for the requirements of the Papper Players Gals. So now the colors- they came in from the Sunday Stamp blog.  And the sketch is from  the Fab Friday blog.

I hope you like it!

Long Easter

Spring is here!
Which mean that Easter is around the corner.

I started with the inspirational photo from the As you see it blog.  Flowers, beautiful pastel colors and Easter - that started this creation. From the Tic Tac Toe challenge I choose a die cut, twine and bright colors. The bright colors I picked from the Gals over at The Just Us Girls. To play with the CASology challenge I needed something LONG. So I combined the old with the new- I used the very long flower stem I had for over 3 years from PTI but I put a new flower bud on it. It turned out pretty cute, fresh and vibrant.

Sunday Fun Bubbles

Happy Sunday Y'all!

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Southern California! Which helped to inspire my fun summer card!

I always try to create a card with somebody in mind- this one goes to a friend of mine,  who's a big kid at heart! I Started by drawing inspiration from the Card Concept blog. The nursery inspired this child themed clean and graphic card.
The sketch is from My Favorite things and the color swatch is from the Color Throwdown

Seal it with a kiss

Continuing the Valentine's theme...

This card was inspired by the delicious photo from the Gals over at  the Card Concept Challenge blog. The cupcakes with the hearts and the colors screamed love and Valentine's day out loud, so I made this Clean and Graphic card for it.
I used a bunch of kisses to create the pattern background for my card as requested from the Addicted to CAS challenge blog this week.

I used the color swatch from the Sunday stamps challenge.

Guest Designer

Hello Everyone!

This is the first card for this year! And it's a special one because I  was invited to be a Guest Star Stamper at the ColorThrowdown challenges. The colors for it are blue, pink and green.
So here is my creation!

It's a bitter sweet one, because I'm playing with the last sketch of the Gals over at the CASe This Sketch Challenges. I will miss that challenge!
Over Christmas I treated myself to a new stamp and it's this beautiful rose from Hero Arts.

I wanted to play along with the challenge over at the As you See It Blog. It is a speed challenge and it asks to use scraps. I have a whole box with little scrap pieces that I go through from time to time, so I was happy to dig in it. This card was finished in 9.14 min.  I quickly colored it, cut it, stenciled the arrows...I was planning to do an embossed sentiment... but it didn't work out, so I had to swap it for whatever I had in the pile of scraps, because I was running out of time.

I kept it simple, since I wanted to meed the criteria of the AAA card challenge being one third of the card.
