Vintage global design

Happy Sunday!
I'm joining in today with a modern vintage card I made for the Global design Project, using their sketch.

Since the PTI are celebrating 10 years of creativity, I decided to join in on the festivities.
I got inspired by Lizzie Jones flowing flowers card. I incorporated those in my design and combined it with some cracked glass technique to give it a vintage look.

I hope you like my creation.

Hello…Call me, maybe?

It's Thursday!

Not that it matters, but I am off today, so I have time to craft. That being said-here's my creation:

I started by following the sketch offered by the Gals at Retro Sketch Challenges and mixed it with the Color recipe  from ColorQ blog. And since Little Tangles were waiving at me, saying Hi, I said Hello back. The result- Retro Color Q mash :)
Who knows, maybe it's a sigh that Adele and Carly Rae Jepsen need to  collaborate and have a hit together

Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

A quick Holiday project to join the festivities over at the Papertrey Ink.

I used their beautiful image for inspiration and followed the Sketch from Reverse Confetti. With little exception all the materials I used are recycled-the base for the card is a part of a gift box, the ribbon is from a party favor from a wedding and the rest are just scrap papers. I hope you enjoy it :)

Paper: Recollections(silver, green, blue, navy, vellum)
Ink: Memento (black)
