Altenew throwdown

I am joining in today with a fun birthday card.

I chose some bright and bold colors to offset my monochromatic image. The poppy flower is colored with markers and pencils. The inspiration came from the Altenew buganvilias.

Roses in love

Hello and happy Monday!

The Gals at The Paper Players blog are tempting me to do a card for someone special. So I decided to do a card for my Mom.

This is a very simple card , but elegant and perfect for a few challenges- The Card Concept and the Simon Says are calling for the color of love and romance. So I grabbed the sketch from the As you see it Blog and because I get inspired by all the little things I made a love card with roses :)

Altenew Inspirational Challenge

I am joining in today with a creation I made for the Altenew Inspiration Challenge

Aside from the beautiful picture, the colors also grabbed my attention. Here's what I came up with- something quite simple but elegant.

And it's never too early to start on the Mother's day cards :)
