Sending Hugs

I am cutting it close with five hours left to the deadline at Just Us Girls. But that wouldn't stop me-so here it is. Fast and furious card for a few challenges

I knew I wanted to use die cuts so I can make that my focal point per the Paper Players challenge.  Originally I was planning on a newsprint paper background but that appeared too busy. So I decided to play in the Alphabet challenge over at the Less is More blog. For that I die cut multiple hugs out of  a cardstock and used the negative to create the background. A few layers of Hugs dies (and a lot of fingers) were glued together for a little bit of dimension. A ribbon, a button and that's it.
I hope you enjoy it!

I hope you dance

Stopping by with a quick project for a few challenges.  Life has been busy but I managed to sneak out from responsibilities and find a little time to participate.
Here's my project

The ladies at the As you see it blog were playing with a bunch of elements- I wanted to join. I also incorporated the Less is More challenge request for NEWSPRINT and the Little Red Wagon challenge for Craft paper

Less is More

Trying something completely different here. Totally and absolutely out of my comfort zone, but here it is-as simple as it can get.

I started by combining 3 challenges in one.
CASology are  trying the chocolate flavor, Less is more are focusing on Mostly Words and Colour Q as always offered the delicious colour recipe.

And That' s the final design. Of course I'm trying not to add a button, twine, ribbon and at least one enamel dot. So far-I haven't. But I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up in the middle of the night and do it :)
