Flagged Borders

I haven't had too much time lately to be creative, life kinda gets in the way. But I needed to come up with something special for a dear friend of mine that's going through a rough patch...and I got surprised how nicely it  turned out.
I got inspired by the Make it Monday challenge Flagged borders. And then I borrowed the color combo from the Colour Q Challenge

It's usually hard for me not to overload my projects with tons of embellishments. So for this one I used a little elevation and i think that did it for me. A few rhinestones and I was good to go

I came up with this little project that was inspired by the Mojo Monday Sketch. I have to admit it didn't come up too baby-appropriate, but-I guess I never know what the final product will be LOL. I hope you enjoy it. And thank goodness mama doesn't read the blog so it will still be a surprise :)

Butterfly love

I have always loved butterflies. And when Maile Belles came out with the new Beautiful Butterflies Collection I was thrilled. And what do you know-it happened to be my Birthday, so...I got one!!! And I couldn't wait to use them, of course. I created this card and I'm going to send it to the Butterfly Kisses Organization-it's a non-profit organization in Charlotte, NC that is trying to bring some colour and smiles to the world of some not so fortunate kids. Don't hesitate to do so if you can help.
Here is my project :)

The begining

Here we go...
So I guess this is a kind of creative outlet for me…or just a more simple way to share my “art” with the world… or whatever it turns out to be.
But in anyways-it will be fun.
The very first project I would like to share was for Make It Monday #46: Any Die into a Folded Tag. I created a small tag with some scrap paper, PTI Year of the flowers collection stamp and of course Copic markers /in which I’m in love!/ Not to brag about it, but it turned out pretty cute.
