President Obama did his final turkey pardoning today, so I was inspired to create something in the same line.

The little baby turkey is a downloadable image I bought from Etsy. Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and Thanksgiving theme from the Card Concept. Simple recipe-delicious card (no pun intended)

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is in the air!

So I created this classy and elegant card for the occasion and to join the Card Concept Challenge.

I started with a lot of different stamps (that I've had forever and never used them) being piled up in a collage. Thanks to the Retro Rubber blog I am now going through a lot of old stamps and rediscovering them (or remember why I bought them on first place). Then I watercolored and penciled and that's the final result. The inspiration came from the Sunday stamps blog. I'm also joining the Simon Says Wednesday challenge

Election day Art

Hello again!

There is nothing better to do while following how election night unfolds than to craft!

Here's my final product!

I tried something new this time. I inked the background with orange and rust (they translated a little bit yellow and orange on the photo, oh well!) and tried to splatter a few water drops for  a different effect.... i had a rough time-my water didn't want to splatter. Anyhow, somehow, that's what I got! I used the Retro Sketch for guidance and the Color Throwdown palette. And-no stamps!

Thinking of You Concept

It's the WEEKEND! Woooooohooo!

I am joining in today with a very clean and very simple card. 

The inspirational photo from the Card Concept stole my heart and I had to play. I got a box with new pencils (a doodle box lol) and I was eager to put them to use. I grabbed the classic sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and while I was debating what my sentiment should be, SimonSays blog came to the rescue, so it turned out to be a thinking of you card.
