Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

A quick Holiday project to join the festivities over at the Papertrey Ink.

I used their beautiful image for inspiration and followed the Sketch from Reverse Confetti. With little exception all the materials I used are recycled-the base for the card is a part of a gift box, the ribbon is from a party favor from a wedding and the rest are just scrap papers. I hope you enjoy it :)

Mojo Monday

I created a quick but oh, so fun card with the help of the Mojo Monday Sketch.

This one goes to my little Nephew.
I really hope he'll like it-I'm never too sure if they are not too old for it or too young ... Anyway, he is 6 and I really hope he'll enjoy it

The Yellow panel is actually a pocket and inside is this little tag with this adorable Squirrel.

I had this set with robots for about 5 years. I bought it when my nephew was born with the idea to make something for him when he's a little bit older. As you can imagine, I totally forgot about it. Now I'm afraid that he might be a little bit too old for robots... But finally I got to use them

A Stamping Royalty Challenge

Create-along-with-us-heading

Papertrey Ink is having a challenge inspired by some of their release projects.

I got inspired by The simple and elegant card made by the talented Nichole Heady. I am not quite ready to start working on Christmas Card but I can definitely get a head start on some other Holidays.
Joy to the World Card
I like to work on a few challenges at the same time because it's more fun and all the decisions are made for me. Like for today's project I used the color combo that the Lovely Ladies over at the Stamping Royalties offered.  And since Simon Says wanted us to go with Dies-oh, well, who am I to argue with Simon, right :)

MFT Superstar Challenge

I created  a card for the Design Superstar Challenge  that MFT is holding. I hope you like it!

I followed the color recepe that the Gals over at The Colour Q Challenge whisked . I was i little to late and missed the deadline, but never the less I enjoyed the combo :)

Retro Colour Q

Jumping in with a quick project for Retro Sketch Challenge.

I used the Colour Q color  formula. And while I was working on it I learned a valuable life lesson. Here it is- if your hands are shaky you should probably avoid working with sequins. I tipped the box and they went flying all over the room- and I mean ALL OVER :)

My Favorite Things challenge

I tried something new and different today and I might say- I like how it turned out. The Gals at MFT are having this little (wink, wink) challenge that I decided to participate in

Card Design Superstar
I used their beautiful Leafy Flourish die to decorate my design- it brough so much movement and life.

I used the color combo offered from the Gals at The Colour Q and combined it with the sketch from Case This Sketch.  This is the first time I'm using embossing paste- a little bit challenging but the results are worth the effort :)
