Pretty in Pink

Hello again.
Inspired by this award season I wanted to thank all the crafting community for their endless support, encouragement and inspiration with this card.

The delicate pink colors over at the Fusion challenge made me pull out my watercolors and start ...well, coloring. I wanted to create something svelte and refine so I can participate in the challenge that Dani Angelova threw at us over at the Картичкофурии blog.

I stamped the background with peony stamp , colored them with watercolors and some pencils and added a die cut thanks on the top.

Not too shabby for Tuesday

Mojo Friday

Yey, It's Friday!
SO why not make it a Mojo Friday :)

I have a new stamp from the Paper Source and I couldn't wait to put it into good use. This cluster of flowers is so sweet and perfect against any solid rich color cardstock. I used a white pencil and some gel ink pens to color the petals and add a little shimmer to them. the sketch from Mojo Monday was my guide for this card.

Sending Hugs

I am cutting it close with five hours left to the deadline at Just Us Girls. But that wouldn't stop me-so here it is. Fast and furious card for a few challenges

I knew I wanted to use die cuts so I can make that my focal point per the Paper Players challenge.  Originally I was planning on a newsprint paper background but that appeared too busy. So I decided to play in the Alphabet challenge over at the Less is More blog. For that I die cut multiple hugs out of  a cardstock and used the negative to create the background. A few layers of Hugs dies (and a lot of fingers) were glued together for a little bit of dimension. A ribbon, a button and that's it.
I hope you enjoy it!

Vintage global design

Happy Sunday!
I'm joining in today with a modern vintage card I made for the Global design Project, using their sketch.

Since the PTI are celebrating 10 years of creativity, I decided to join in on the festivities.
I got inspired by Lizzie Jones flowing flowers card. I incorporated those in my design and combined it with some cracked glass technique to give it a vintage look.

I hope you like my creation.

In honor of 2011-PTI

We continue to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Papertrey ink with lots of kind memories and amazing projects. Here's mine for the year of 2011

My card got inspired by the card Nichole Heady created for the release of the Year of Flowers stamp set. This stamp set has been in the base of many fond memories created, including the wedding invitations for my friend. Yes, that's  how special it is!

I absolutely adore the subtle background Nichole created so that inspired me to do my card. I incorporated the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the romantic coloring of the As you See It Challenge (even though I'm a little off with the colors)

#Kiss

On Valentine's Day you cannot go without a kiss.

So, here it is, a scrapbooking kiss :)

I had those cute little Ladybugs images from the Bugaboo Stamps that it was just impossible not to use.  It's a pretty simple card- I used a pattern paper for my base and added the white panel with the image on the top. Twine, button, #kiss and it's done:)
The cute factor gets it in the Simon Says Wednesday challenge, the Valentine subject into the Creative with Stamps and AAA Cards.

I hope you have a Loved day!

The Past, the Present and the Future

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am joining in today with a cute little card I made for the Past, the Present and the Future  release party over at the Papertrey Ink.

I started a little bit backwards, but thankfully it all worked out.

My inspiration for this card came from Betsy Veldman's card from back in 2007. I didn't have some of the stamps they were revisiting , so I used some other, as fabulous products that I had. I die cut the butterfly out of the pink panel, because I wanted to use that for my "cloud"element for the Case this Sketch challenged and to join the Happy Little Stamper's challenge. It seemed simple enough, until I realized that when I stamped my butterfly and tried to put the panel on the top, the panel was not quite vertical. Probably I should've drawn some reference lines, but that's so overrated! So now I had to trim the panel so it is vertical in relation to the base of the card. Who needs it to be easy when it can be so much more.......fun! Let's go with Fun! ;)

I used the color idea that the Paper Players were offering. The sentiment is embossed on a metallic copper cardstock (not very visible on the picture). I hand pierced the frame on the pink panel with a pin (because I lost my piercing tool and by lost I mean I organized it somewhere that can be never found) for a little special touch and adde a few pearl stickers and I was done.

Happy Love Day!

This is a very simple card , but elegant and perfect for a few challenges- The Card Concept and the Simon Says are calling for the color of love and romance. So I grabbed the sketch from the As you see it Blog and because I get inspired by all the little things I made a love card with roses :)

Lady bug

Happy Sunday!

I am joining in the Fusion festivities with this adorable card.

I have this ladybug image from Bugaboo stamps, that is simply adorable. So I incorporated it in the Fusion Blog sketch and since Valentine's around the corner I made it a romantic one with my XO sentiment. That way I can participate in the Card Concept, Inspired by the little things and Simon Says challenges which all have love and romance in the air.
