CTD Challenge

Hello and Happy Monday!

It's a new week with lots of new possibilities and of course lots of new challenges

Today I am joining the creative girls over at the Color Throwdown Challenge with their soft pastel color combo. I combined it with the sketch from the Case this Sketch challenge. The result was very simple and delicate (in my opinion) card

Retro Sketch

Happy Friday Y'all!

I'm joining in today with another romantic project. I guess I'm feeling lovey...

I decided to join the Retro Sketch ladies for their challenge and combine it with the Color Throwdown  palette of colors. The girls at Fusion have this very cool picture that really inspired the use of the polka dot washi and the decision of going slightly vintage (color wise) for the base of the card.
It's a non traditional Valentine's Day card, because of the colors but it has hearts, so I guess that works :)

My Favorite Thing Color Challenge

Hello there! It's Wednesday and what better reason to create something cute:)

I am playing today with the Color Challenge from the girls over at the My Favorite Things Blog.
I have to admit-it wasn't an easy challenge. but where's the fun in non challenging challenge, right?  I saw the name of one of the colors- green-eyes monster and I immediately though- something for my nephews! I have 3 crazy little nephews and one of them recently stated that I am fun! Oh, Boy!!!!
Now I have to live up to my reputation :)

This is what I came up with. I think it turned out good.

Game day crafting

Hello Everybody! It's Sunday! It's a game day! And even though I'm watching the game I'm trying to get some crafting in. FInal product  is bellow

I had this adorable flower stamp for quite some time and I have no idea how I never used it before. I cut around it, I colored it and it turned into this adorable accessory. I had a little help from the girls from Freshly Made Sketches (who offered the sketch) and from the Color Throwdown (who suggested the color combo). And since the gals over at Word Art Wednesday reminded me to be encouraging and supportive, I dug into my Verve Stamps collection for this simple, but quite meaningful sentiment

Hello…Call me, maybe?

It's Thursday!

Not that it matters, but I am off today, so I have time to craft. That being said-here's my creation:

I started by following the sketch offered by the Gals at Retro Sketch Challenges and mixed it with the Color recipe  from ColorQ blog. And since Little Tangles were waiving at me, saying Hi, I said Hello back. The result- Retro Color Q mash :)
Who knows, maybe it's a sigh that Adele and Carly Rae Jepsen need to  collaborate and have a hit together

With Love

Sometimes I start working on a project and the project just don't happen.

That was the case with this one. I wanted to play with the gals at Retro Sketches and ColorQ, but I ran out of time. I was late. By a week…

I was trying to finish the card and I had this creative block that was sabotaging my good intentions. So yeah, that's it-I'll go with that :)

Anyway, it's finally done!
